More fun with tissue paper...

If you read my previous post about the decorations I made for my roommate's birthday...

...here are some additional directions for the tissue paper pom-poms.
  1. Add four more sheets of tissue paper.
Yes, I realize that is only one more step, but it makes a big difference. They are much fuller and don't "wilt" as easily.


Here is a shot of our house from the street with them hanging up.


You can also buy the do it yourself kit at Michael's, but why pay $20 when you can do it for $5.?

Love the pom poms. I was going to make them for my son's rehearsal dinner in an out door pavilion in Savannah. Wilting was the big factor in deciding against them! Good idea to make them fuller - your porch looks awesome!
